Canning

Well I am getting ready to go out of town and I had a big bag of apples in the fridge that I decided to can. This is the first time I have ever done it and didn't realize that a little over 3lb bag of apples would only make a quart of apple sauce!! :)

After doing that I decided to start canning the huge bag of carrots I have. So far I have four jars...

I remember my mom canning and she said how much work it is, but I haven't found it that hard. She used to make jams and jellies so maybe that is more work... I have a huge bag of frozen blueberries I was thinking of canning too...

I originally bought the jars to put the almond milk that we make in them. I actually like doing this so at this rate I won't have any jars left for the almond milk.
